Tips for your Appointment:

  1. Let our office know what your appointment is for.
  2. Bring the contact information of your pediatrician.
  3. If you have a particular question (crossing, squinting, drifting of the eyes...) please take some pictures at home and bring them with you.
  4. If this is your child's first eye visit, try to do a "practice" visit at home.
  5. Expect your visit to be 2 hours, sometimes kids just need some extra time.
  6. Bring a snack and toys for your kids this might help comfort them.

Suggestions for a "Practice" visit

  1. Have your child cover one eye at a time at home.
  2. Have your child "check your eyes."
  3. Practice asking you child questions to help them comfort

Our office is a proud partner with he Standard School District and we provide vision screening for all students. Additionally, we coordinate clinic visit for any child with ocular pathology and last we provide glasses to kids that need them.
